What is a Priestess- (1)

Becoming a priestess was the most potent spiritual activation I’ve personally ever experienced. It opened me to deeper inner guidance and wisdom than I’d ever thought possible.  Before taking this amazing journey I really didn’t even know what a priestess was, but I am now blessed to know just how she functions.  Lisa-calling-in-2
…..

A PRIESTESS is an archetype of feminine spirituality, in the same way a priest functions as a masculine spiritual archetype.  She is a woman in her spiritual authority.  No one needs to intervene on her behalf as she has a direct connection to the Divine within. Deeply connected to her spirituality from the inside out, a priestess may also be a member of any religion or have connection to none.
…..
You will find women of many religious faiths or those who consider themselves simply spiritual calling forth their inner priestess.  The archetype expresses multi-culturally, in pure spirituality, and multi-religions.
…..
Priestesses may connect to the Divine in nature just as well as in any home, church, synagogue, or temple.  A priestess brings the sacred into form by connecting to Divine energy in her creative pursuits such as dance, art, writing, music, theatre, ceremonies, rituals, and celebrations.
…..
Priestesses may counsel and support others in times of crisis, transition, healing, and creation. They may assist through their prayers, meditation, deep listening, or simply by being present and bringing awareness and attentive witnessing to a situation.
…..
Priestesses honor the cycles and seasons of Nature, and of life. They observe and value the relationships between earth and sky, nature and humanity. They attune to, learn from, and work with the natural rhythms of the earth and sky, the sun, moon, and stars. They know the sacred timings of when to plant seeds, fertilize, call upon the rain, and harvest.
…..
In families and communities, priestesses bring awareness to the way change affects life by creating time and space to honor life passages. They create and often officiate ceremonies that recognize the transitions of birth, puberty, a new job, the loss of a job, marriage, divorce, menopause, elderhood, and death.
…..
When a woman consciously calls forth the priestess archetype in the priestess process and it awakens within, she increases her inner guidance and knowing.  It opens the capacity for a direct connection to the Divine.
