Commitment functions as the glue of creation. Once you make a decision on a creation you choose to bring into form or a path of personal soul development you desire, commitment is required for results. Strong commitment sees you through the challenges that arise when you are manifesting or allowing transformation.
Gay and Kathlyn Hendricks say in their book, The Conscious Heart, “New monks in a monastery are told that their deepest doubts will not even come up until they have made a soul-level commitment to their path. When doubts come up, they regard them as part of the path, not as a sign that their commitment was a mistake. Some difficulties emerge because of the commitment, not in spite of it.”
And time you take on a new level of growth such as expanding your business, generating more cash flow, learning a new craft, or becoming a priestess, commitment is required for completion and successful completion. Goethe said it brilliantly.
“Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back.”
Even after the initial commitment one has to continually recommit in order to make their way from the beginning stages of an initiation or new skill development, all the way through to the other side of completion or manifestation.
“The word commitment originates from Latin words that mean ‘to bring together’ and ‘to send forth,’” say Gay and Kathlyn Hendriks. “The modern definition includes the idea of ‘pledging and binding yourself to a chosen course of action.’ A genuine commitment, then, comes from bringing yourself together body and soul, then sending forth your unified being in a chosen path of action.”
Any time you tap into the realm of creation, you quickly discover the multitude of ideas that exist for you to experience. In fact, there are always more ideas than you could ever bring into form. Nature provides multiple opportunities for creation to take place because of the unpredictability of which ones will seed, sprout, and grow.
As a woman, you wouldn’t want to have a baby for every egg you carry, and likewise, you don’t want to try and bring every idea you have into form.
Yet, many women do that very thing; they chase after one idea and then the next without uncovering the deeper layers of their current true desires or what they need for the next level of soul-development. I often see women chase after weaker ideas instead of concentrating their creation energy and committing to their stronger, chosen paths of development, or bringing solid effective creations into form.
Desires change over time so it’s important to do an evaluation of what you truly choose to bring into your life and business regularly. During this process also examine, then fully release, any old intentions and ways of being that no longer serve you.
Once you’ve determined the path you want to follow or what you choose to manifest, you can call on Air and the creative realm of ideas to stimulate the possibilities. Connect to your soul and what’s needed now for right aligned growth. Listen internally to your guidance, write down what you receive, and commit to taking action. Commit to staying the course until your initiation is complete or creations come into form.
Commitment will see you through your uncertainty and self-doubt. Commitment helps you come up with creative solutions. Commitment moves you through the times when you want to give up as you make your way to your next level of personal, business, and soul development.
This week, consider the Goddess Gift of commitment by asking yourself the following questions:
- Where do I need to apply a greater level of commitment?
- Have I truly been committing to the things I say I desire?
- What soul-level commitment am I being guided to make right now?
Sending support for solid soul-filled commitment this week.
