Week 22:

Have you ever thought you were heading in one direction in your life or business, and then in one moment something shifts that changes everything? 

Your spouse asks for an unanticipated divorce. You are fired from your job. Your key employee quits suddenly without warning or notice. You receive word from your doctor about a serious health issue. You lose a major business account. Someone you love and cherish dies unexpectedly. A hurricane destroys your home. 

This depth of change is something we all fear deeply. Yet, sooner or later, in one way or another, we all experience and deal with such trauma over the course of our lives. It’s not whether these types of changes will happen in life. Because they will. It’s your response that makes the difference.

Your feelings of success and life satisfaction are directly tied to your response to life’s challenges. 

It is important that your inner compass is clear in order to produce the best results during and after such life-altering events. Allowing the Goddess Gift of change to open you to entirely new ways of living life helps you navigate during this type of life transformation. 

You can use these types of changes to effectively realign your life’s direction.

Take the time to listen deeply within to reevaluate what’s next in order to determine if you need to readjust your path in order to be more in alignment with your mission.

It’s easy for energy to leak out in the mental air realm when you start thinking things like:

  • “This should have gone a different way,” or
  • “It shouldn’t have happened to me,” or 
  • “I should have been able to make this work.”

The more you can allow yourself to really think outside your old mental “box” (habits and patterns) during times of change, the more you free up creative possibility. 

Also crucial to your success during these times of change is honoring and acknowledging your feelings. The transformational process always brings some kind of letting go in order for the new form to take shape. 

This week, ask yourself…

  • Where am I resisting change? 
  • What thoughts about life are draining my energy? 
  • What new perspective can I shift into in order to open up new possibilities regarding these changes I’m experiencing? 
  • Where do I need to release old mental habits and allow change? 
  • What fears are causing issues in my life right now?

    One certain thing in life is change. I always feel initially a fight or flee response. But when I practice being in the moment. Things seem to go where they are supposed to. It sure makes for an interesting time.
